According to a source in the advertising industry, Jio is in discussions with media agencies to build advertising solutions. However, the company is not interested in businesses that don’t have a certain scale. “Jio is already building solutions with some media agencies, but it is not on a scale that is desirable. The two ecosystems have to merge to build scale. Jio is not even interested in looking at Rs 500-1000 crore kind of business,” the source said, on the condition of anonymity.
This is big news for digital marketing companies, BCG is expanding its Indian digital adtech business at the perfect time.
It should be read in context with this 5 year old article where Mr.Suresh Reddy clearly predicted this to happen in fact he said
“Advertising is not a single person’s job. This is just a platform. It will not hurt anyone and the size of market will only grow. This will put the country on the global map if it works the way it should,” Reddy said.

If one reads the reply of IIT batch mates properly especially those of Mr.Peshwa Acharya on the linkedin account of Mr. Suresh Reddy the benefits to digital adtech companies like BCG is very clearly visible due to entry of very big players like Jio into digital advertising, in short the opportunities for growth in the Indian market are very huge in the times to come.

This is from TTDs Annual Report (Page 16) it has clearly mentioned about payment cycles & delay in receivables which is very common in adtech industry but for years some ill-informed people always tarnished the image of BCG with regards to the delay in receivables.
For all those people who always try to create confusion in the minds of investors for the past several years with regards to ₹ 1000 crores receivables just look at the receivables of TTD its a massive sum of about 1.9 times its annual sales in 2020.
So it clearly shows that all digital adtech companies face delay in receiving their payments across the globe & irrespective of the size of the company.
