Saul, I would beg to differ on your comment that market is extra critical on BCG, market has always been critical about the companies which are not open to investors. Even blue chip companies like Infosys are made to stand on their toes when market sees something red in their business.

If BCG management or investor relations has spent only 10% of the effort and time spent by you in making us understand BCG business, things would have been different over the past 10 years. Investor relations cannot be just a mail id on the website.

We wouldn’t be still discussing on revenues and profits if BCG had just provided details of the below three questions during each acquisition they made.
How the acquisition is being funded
what is the expected revenue growth
    what is the business growth

Market wouldn’t be critical if BCG is more open about new initiatives, every company has competitors but still they give details about the initiatives. This makes the investors feel that the money invested is being put to proper use.

Market wouldn’t be critical, if BCG was able to find a buyer for Oak shares as promised which i strongly believe is the reason behind the current down-slide in stock value.

@logicalspeak, basically BCG needs a excellent CFO who can do solid finance planning – tracking cash flow and do capital allocation based on financial predictions. BCG lagging behind in this, Hope their consolidated entity has a better CFO.

    Hi Headstead,

What do you think about tanla and BCG now, i remember a decade ago tanla and BCG were in the same boat with low valuations, market didnt understand much of their business. You were confident on both BCG and Tanla. Today Tanla hit a century but we are still waiting for BCG to come into two digits. Tanla management has taken many investor friendly decisions over a period of time which BCG is not able to for various reason.

Very Well said @logicalspeak, long term investors had to face the brunt due to various factors. I do believe there is some clarity now.

I am sure management cannot explain their relationship in the open between them and the entity which is holding large amount of shares and constantly sell shares between themselves. I remember in one of the concall SKR said that he would not like to comment on the entity as it is open market and they can sell and buy shares whenever they want. But when he told a buyer has been arranged for Oak shares and then we realised that buyer was none other than same entity who were convinced to buy shares at higher price. Some nexus between all parties remains just that we donno whether it is good for us or bad.

@odysee – It doesn’t matter much now, as we never recovered after the 150 crore write off and a series a of bad news which followed.
With current market sentiments on BCG, Management has to take few investor friendly decisions to gain market confidence, Even after getting LOC and solving DAUM issue.

This time around market panicked when OAK’s shares came out in the open even though SKR assured that a buyer has been arranged and investors need not worry about it. Management cant afford to make such mistakes.

Friends, I might be wrong but i think BCG needs to hire someone who has experience in dealing with markets.
B-Local is a excellent idea, but the presentation looks like a teacher teaching a student with granular details of technicality and is more appealing to partners and advertisers.

For investors they should have submitted a different presentation which might be interest of investors saying that

BCG using the AI technology has went live with a new B-local exchange, this is the first local market exchange in US created by your company and we have signed up reputed publishers, BCG expects many partners to use this exchange during election period and christmas which will add up to incremental revenue.

We need atleast one positive news from management regarding LOC or Daum Settlement to turn the tide again. Else looks like it is going to be the same old story for the long term investors as we are heading back to square one.

@Rathi_B we need to go by SKR’s words in conference call that investors need not worry about the axis bank loan as everything is in control.

Hope BCG gets LOC within this quarter and sort out all issues in this Quarter, with presidential elections in November and Christmas in December. BCG can make the LOC to perfect use for the huge jump in online ad spend next quarter. With covid, i expect the companies to allocate more funds for online ad spend this year than previous years.

    Any thoughts friends?

I assume management has to get all its pledged shares released and promoters have to buy from open market to add confidence to the business growth story
