2+November 25, 2020 at 10:39 am in reply to: Poll: Which event do you think had the biggest effect? #9408Thanks @Raj, All of these events has effected significantly but the objective of the poll is to identify the single most event which made the biggest impact. Adding ‘all of these’ option would not help us to arrive at a conclusion in case most of the votes goes there. At the end of this poll, we hope to understand the general market sentiments. Logan can explain much better on this idea.

2+@Antu – Sorry for the delay in responding, as I am busy these days with my new assignment. Do you really want to quit this forum? I have just shared my feedback that day and it is my way of moderating things. I have been like this since the beginning and many of us here may be knowing. I do this to maintain a balance, keeping in mind all kind of investors, new and old, that they should not be influenced especially on days of important events like results announcements, conference calls etc. We should not bring our emotions on such days and look forward to get maximum participation and seek feedback from experienced members. We missed Diana Horton (Platinum member) and Headstead this time.
If you still wish to opt out you may respond or please ignore.
5+I want to bring to notice to Mr. Chalapathi who mentioned our forum along with MMB when he talked about rumors on the financials. We have never promoted any of the rumors discussed in the MMB but in fact we have mostly responded strongly to dispel it. Please be careful when you speak, otherwise such actions would bring bad image to us, especially when we have bridged a good relationship with the company due to the efforts of Hyderabad representatives.
8+Please don’t think I am being harsh on anybody. I found todays conference call to be good overall. It is true that as investors we can only wait until it is actually realized. But it does not mean that out of frustration we should be lamenting the company every time. We may have already invested in this stock fully, but this may influence another person’s buying (or selling) decision who at first might have thought positive after the concall but seeing our discussions they may put it on hold. I hope you understand what I am expressing. I want to reiterate that it is investors like us who collectively creates a perception and for that to be changed for good, we need to be optimistic and keep little patience.
@Antu – Kindly request you to control your emotions and do not repeat things again and again as it may deflect the ongoing discussion.
Yesterday you wrote the same things in the conference questions thread #9268. Please be mindful about it.
3+adminKeymasterThanks all, have mailed the questions to investor relations.
Was the date wrong in the investors page? It is showing correct date now. http://brightcomgroup.com/investors/
See you all for the post conference update 🙂
adminKeymaster@Antu – Please request you to post only queries in this thread. If everyone starts like this then it is hard time to manage.
2+adminKeymasterThanks all for posting your queries. Have consolidated them with minor adjustments. Will be sending to IR today evening, so request others to post your queries before that.
1. BCG had a good quarter in Q1 but why there was no growth in profits in Q2? (DM business revenues went up 10% but profits are flat). All other digital marketing companies did well this quarter but we have a lacklustre performance. Any specific reason?
2. Status of LOC and Axis case.
3. Why consolidation of subsidiaries is put on hold?
4. Is the company looking to get stable investors?
5. What are management plans/initiative to improve the share performance?
6. What is the update from last analyst meet?
7. Once Daum settlement, and India debt are closed, can the company dedicate cash to buy back shares from the market? Since there are too many shares in the market, it’s very easy for operators to manipulate the prices and the company buying back shares will bring some stability at least. Since BCG is massively undervalued, it’ll be a great investment too.
8. In the last call, the CEO told us that by the next conference call there’ll be improvement in communications with the investors but we haven’t seen any significant improvement. We understand that the company can’t reveal sensitive information and we’ll always respect that but we need an acknowledgement at least from your side for our mails.
9. The auditor has mentioned the following in the recent Q2 report –
Without qualifying our review report, Attention is invited to the following material observations which have been identified by us during the verification period:
The company is having branch operations at USA which are part of standalone financials.
What’s the significance of this statement?10. Can the CEO reveal why Oak didn’t honor the agreement with the company and sold their shares in the open market. We understand that this is a sensitive topic and involves another party but their selling has brought more harm and manipulations of share prices.
11. Are there plans to revive the parent company’s business? There’s no growth in revenues and the profits are too small – for many years.
12. Just a gentle reminder to make the annual report as informative as possible. Complete details of items like other assets, loans and advances etc should be mentioned. Please give more information about the plans for the future too. Also give more details about the digital marketing business in the annual report.
13. Is Onetag part of BCG?
14. Which brand name does BCG provide DSP and DMP services?
15. Onomagic- Owned and operated publishers. Can we know at least a few owned sites in this category? What is the revenue contribution from Onomagic?
16. Can we get an approximate revenue split across various verticals in digital? For ex: SSP, DSP, DMP etc.
17. Can you appoint a person who can advise the company on topics related to the stock market?
@drjaysee There was no need of this forum if those guys allowed us to discuss like we are doing here. First let them explain the reason why they marked every good posts offensive, getting them deleted, red flagging boarders, abusing and spreading fake stories.
This forum was created at a time when the excitement was low, there was darkness about what lies ahead. Our main discussion was centered around Daum with little knowledge about what this company and ad industry in general. We saw some good members joining us and shared their knowledge with all. Thankfully the company also started to clear the mess. It is a different matter that it is taking a lot of time than we had imagined but now we are at a stage where there is more clarity and unison among ourselves that we are not giving away our holdings to the people who are making these allegations.

Hi everyone,
This week we have completed one year after starting this forum! I have renewed it for another year by redeeming the ad revenues accumulated so far which is Rs.7500. It took around Rs.3500 to start this forum and for renewal also it’s same charges. Am happy that all have been recovered through Ads, that’s the power of Ads.
The best thing to happen is we got Logan sir to guide us with plain facts and strong research. The second best thing is the union of Hyderabad members to represent us. And the third best thing is of late, we are seeing some nice bonding here with many of us exchanging diverse views in a healthy manner. No one is dominating and it is pleasant to read everyone’s views both positives and negatives.
Message to Valuebuyer and others, the price actions really takes a toll on each of us, but it should not impact our health. Investing is good but it is important to practise other good things in life which releives stress. I believe that even though it may take longer time to see the returns, our investment is safe here because of the industry we are in.
Thanks @aindia sir for sharing the research update
adminKeymasterThanks to our Hyderabad representatives of 'Brightcom Investors Forum' to meet with @BrightcomGroup management today at their Hyderabad office, which they say was fruitful. Please read what they have to say,https://t.co/KOX45R8p4U
